Backstory

Early Life (1988 – 2014)

Avril Sánchez Olsen was born on March 1st, 1988, in CórdobaArgentina, alongside her twin sister, Natalie Sánchez Olsen. Her mother was Valentina Sánchez and her father was Victor Olsen. Valentina was from Argentina while her father came from Oslo and Norway. In 1989, her parents brought the twins to Norway where they grew up in the capital Oslo.

From an early age, the two sisters were seen as inseparable, yet fundamentally different. Avril was the bold and charismatic one, while Natalie was the observant and calculating twin—always watching, always analyzing.

Their father, Victor Olsen, was a promninent politician in Norway. Avril’s mother, Valentina, liked to control her children and had psychopathic tendencies. This came from her then-secret past in the Argentine mafia. While Natalie was drawn to psychology, Avril was found a different path: She liked to go to parties and have a good time. From middle school age she started experimenting with drugs.

She graduated with ok grades in 2007. Avril then tried to study different subjects but didn’t finish anything, it seemed like she only wanted to party. But in 2009 when she found out that she should study law. In 2014, she completed her legal education.

Holiday (2014)

It was the summer of 2014, and Avril was excited to finally have a break after finishing her university studies. She had worked hard for years, and now, with her graduation behind her, she was looking forward to some well-deserved rest. To celebrate, she and her parents traveled to her mother’s homeland: Argentina. Her mother, a native of Córdoba, had always spoken fondly of her childhood in the vibrant, sun-soaked streets of the city, and Avril was eager to experience it for herself.

Córdoba, with its colonial architecture and bustling plazas, was a world away from Avril’s life back in the Norway. The culture was rich and the nights were alive with music and laughter. Avril’s parents had their own plans for the holiday, so Avril decided to explore the city and meet some of her old friends. One evening, after a long day of sightseeing, she met up with a few locals at a popular bar known for its vibrant nightlife.

Sentenced to prison (2014-2024)

The bar was packed, the air thick with laughter, music, and the clinking of glasses. Avril felt a sense of freedom—no university papers to worry about, no deadlines hanging over her head. She was in Argentina, celebrating her future. She felt adventurous, and with the encouragement of her new friends, she drank a little more than usual. The group spent hours chatting, laughing, and getting to know each other. As the night wore on, the bar became even more crowded, and the energy surged higher.

But things took an unexpected turn. In the midst of the lively evening, Avril was approached by someone who slipped something into her bag. The next morning this person called the police and the police showed up on the Sànchez resident and began questioning Avril. The authorities conducted a search, and they found a small packet of drugs in her bag. Together with a lot of money. Despite Avril’s protests, the police arrested her.

As mentioned, Avril’s mother had ties to the mafia, but the mafia was weakened by this time after a series of arrests. Avril’s grandfather was a leader in the mafia at this time and the Argentine authorities decided to set an example. The grandfather had to turn himself in to the police or his granddaughter, Avril, would pay the price.

Despite the best efforts of her parents to use their connections to influence the outcome, the legal proceedings were swift and unforgiving. The judge, determined to set an example, handed down a harsh sentence: ten years in prison.

After spending several years in an Argentine prison, Avril changed in a way that no one could have predicted. Her experiences behind bars, the constant fear and humiliation she had to endure, had etched themselves deep into her soul and shaped a whole new personality.

The prison, a place filled with violence, corruption and unimaginable suffering, had been an endless ordeal for Avril. She saw how prisoners were treated as less than human, how they were forced to live in extreme conditions, and how those who tried to resist were brutally beaten. On several occasions, she witnessed horrific abuses, either by the prison guards or by the other prisoners, who ran rampant in a system without justice or control. The constant uncertainty, the threat of violence, and the psychological and physical abuse she herself was subjected to, left Avril with a burning sense of bitterness.

But instead of breaking down, Avril developed a dark survival mechanism. She learned early on that those who showed weakness, those who had compassion, those who tried to maintain some kind of morality, were the first to be exploited and crushed. She had to learn to be tough, to suppress her own emotions, to avoid becoming an easy target for those who ruled the prison with an iron fist. Every day was a struggle to stay in control, and the only way to survive was to be tougher than those around her.

When she was finally released, she had a very different understanding of power and control. Prison had taught her one thing: Those in power decided everything. And to be the one in charge, she had to show no weakness. She began to see authority as the only thing that could protect her from being exploited again, the only thing that could ensure that she would never again be helpless. It was a view of power that was not based on empathy or justice, but on fear and control.

Release from prison, arrival at Angerpool (December 2024 – )

When Avril is released, she learns that her little sister has become dictator in a small island state called Angerpool, which her father managed to take by force a few years earlier before his death. Avril, with her legal background, quickly understands that here she can demand to be the dictator. Especially when she has read her father’s will. So on December 1, 2024, Avril arrives in Angerpool and contacts her sister, Natalie, who has never liked leadership but likes power and has nothing against her sister becoming a dictator and giving power to her sister.

The agreement is that Natalie will be responsible for psychiatry both in the prison and in the mental hospital. While Avril will be dictator.

On February 1st, the law of Angerpool changes and Avril becomes the queen of Angerpool. She becomes a strict leader who refuses to show weakness to anyone. Anyone who goes against her risks never seeing sunlight again.

Psychological Profile of Avril Sánchez Olsen

Avril Sánchez Olsen is a dominant and authoritarian leader, shaped by a life of hardship, betrayal, and survival. Once a carefree young woman who indulged in partying and impulsive behavior, her wrongful imprisonment in Argentina transformed her into a cold, ruthless, and strategic individual. She emerged from prison with a hardened worldview, believing that power and control are the only means of survival.

Her experiences in prison stripped away any lingering empathy, replacing it with a strict, survivalist mentality. She learned that weakness invites exploitation, and as a result, she refuses to show vulnerability to anyone. Avril is deeply mistrustful, seeing the world as a place where only the strongest prevail. She is highly intelligent and manipulative, quickly understanding power dynamics and using them to her advantage.

Psychologically, Avril displays traits of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to the extreme conditions she endured in prison, leading to emotional detachment and hypervigilance. She also exhibits signs of Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD), with a disregard for others’ rights, a lack of remorse, and a willingness to use fear to maintain control. Her deep-seated paranoia prevents her from fully trusting anyone, and her belief in her own superiority suggests narcissistic tendencies.

Upon arriving in Angerpool, she seizes power, understanding that authority is the only protection against betrayal. Now ruling as its dictator, Avril enforces strict policies, ensuring that anyone who challenges her rule faces severe consequences. She does not see herself as a villain but as a survivor—someone who has endured the worst and refuses to be powerless again.
